The IDA8SAB Public Address and Voice Evacuation System is a slave unit with A/B Zoning that extends the IDA8 system with an additional 8 output zones and 2 back-up amplifiers. Each input and output channel come with processing devices such as equalizers, routing mixers and switches, priority and paging components, compressors, volume controllers, limiters and delay lines. The IDA8S Slave operates either on mains power or on a 24V battery power supply for emergency back-up, with automatic switchover. The IDA8S can store up to 4 hours of digital messaging (WAV format) by live or pre-recorded playback. The user friendly ATEÏS Studio GUI allows you to upload digital audio files to a computer or from a computer to the IDA8S. The messages can be played into different zones: up to 4 messages from a single IDA8S Slave or a total of 48 messages across an IDA8 system (controller with slaves). The IDA8S can be configured with ATEÏS-Studio global software (Windows compatible) and it can be protected with a secure password. Once the software is programmed, the system will be able to work off-line without the need of a connected PC.
